Acknowledgement of Grant Funds
Broward Cultural Council policy requires that all grantees use the Broward County logo and written acknowledgement for cultural grants.  Other logos may be required if grantee is the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts or the State of Florida Cultural Affairs Division.  These logos are provided below as a courtesy.

Failure to use the correct attribution to the County in your printed publication/publicity materials could be detrimental to future funding.

It is not acceptable for grantee organizations to substitute their own version of the attribution statement or simply to display the County logo without the attribution statement.

When panelists review grant applications, they apply a criterion under Organizational Merit that states, “successful administration of prior county cultural grants including compliance with required attribution.”

DO NOT state that the project is “sponsored” by the County or the Council.

For Cultural Tourism Program funded projects
Use both the Broward County Logo and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) Logo with the funding statement (listed below) in flyers, programs, brochures, newsletters, direct mail, sponsor recognition, signage, etc. In press releases only the funding statement is required.

Funding Attribution Statement
Funding for this event is provided in part by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council and Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau.

For acknowledgement of funding in following programs:

Use both the Broward County Logo and the funding statement (listed below) in flyers, programs, brochures, newsletters, direct mail, sponsor recognition, signage, etc.  In press releases only the funding statement is required.

Funding Attribution Statement
