Kathering McCauley used burnt marks as part of her visual vocabulary. Her abstraction made frequent reference to archaic form. In this watercolor on hand made paper construction with burnt areas, she infused a descending motion of forms with ease and elegance. Together with "Offering", the artworks are installed in the atrium of the Governmental Center West.
"Arrangement of forms that reveal a slow movement downward, somewhat arrested by another form entering at right bottom."
