Don’t Let April Showers Fool You
In South Florida, we all know April showers are quite common and may stop you from physical activities. Don’t be fooled by April showers; you can still be physically active indoors. Here are some ideas:
- Netflix Users: Instead of watching an instant queue, how about watching a fitness exercise demo
and get moving? Think of it as a movie break. You can exercise for 30 minutes and then watch a movie.
- Rearrange Furniture: If living space permits, do some basic exercise routines such as push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, stretching and walking in place.
- Set Up A Treasure Hunt: Get the entire family involved. Play physical games like Twister or Wii Fit.
CNA Long-Term Care: Take Advantage of Upcoming Special Open Enrollment
A special open enrollment for Long-Term Care insurance will take place April 8 – 30. Health questions and medical underwriting for employees will not be required. Coverage will be effective June 1. CNA will mail the announcement to employees currently not enrolled. This is an excellent opportunity for employees considering long-term care. Future enrollments, after this special open enrollment period, will require medical underwriting. Extended family
members can apply, but will be subject to medical underwriting.
