Business for the Arts of Broward announced that it has raised more than $96,000 in the first 90 days of the launch of its new website, power2give.org/broward. The new funding platform empowers donors to give directly to local arts and cultural projects that inspire them. Expansion of the South Runway project remains on track at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Work continues on the 12 bridge structures over U.S. 1 and the Florida East Coast Railway. Crews are driving piles and pouring concrete to form the walls and columns. In June, workers will place beams across the walls to form the top of the structures.
