Salary Range $27,294 - $43,925 per year

Broward County Government seeks a dynamic College Intern to assist with employment benefits assignments and projects. 

This exciting position provides the opportunity for professional training in the field of Human Resources/Employee Benefits assisting in the following: coordinating open enrollment materials; conducting best practice research; creating customer service surveys; completing bench mark metrics; maintaining and updating the Benefits section web pages; serving as a liaison between the Wellness Team and the Benefits Manager;  and performing related administrative support duties such as data entry and  filing. 

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: Currently enrolled in, or graduated from, an accredited four year college or university with major course work in Public Administration or Business Administration; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. 

NOTE: Candidates possessing a four year college degree with specialty in Human Resources Management and proficiency in utilizing MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred. Knowledge of employee benefits and wellness programs is a plus.
