This program provides financial and technical assistance to eligible homeowners whose properties are in a state beyond repair. In this case, the home will be demolished and a new home built or another home purchased. Owner/occupants of these homes may be eligible to receive assistance for rebuilding their homes or purchase of another home within Broward County. Homeowners may qualify for financing in the form of a benefit payment. No Restrictive Covenant is required.

Residents of the cities of Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Tamarac, Miramar, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Pembroke Pines, Coral Springs, Lauderhill, Margate, Plantation, Sunrise, and the Town of Davie should contact their cities for assistance.

Funds for this program are provided by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).
