The Broward County Library (BCL) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU) have a partnership designed to meet the needs of architecture students. This partnership includes cataloging, processing, maintaining materials, reference assistance, bibliographic instruction, and circulation privileges.

Print Sources - Books

The Reference Section, located on the fifth floor of the Broward County Main Library, provides a variety of reference materials. Circulating books on architecture are located on the fourth floor of the Broward County Main Library.

Note: Books on architecture are available at many branches of the Broward County Library and are classified in the following Dewey Decimal sections: Building and Construction 690-699, Landscape Architecture 712, and Architecture 720-729.

eBooks

The Broward County Library’s collection of electronic books is available through NetLibrary or OverDrive.

Reference Databases

Expanded Academic ASAP (website) provides links to full-text articles from Architectural Digest and other architecture journals. With a Broward County Library card and Internet access, you may search this database from any home or office computer.
