Partners in Preservation Grant Program
Story 1
The 2013 application cycle for the Partners in Preservation grant program will open on Monday February 11 and close six weeks later, on Friday March 22. This will be the final year of grant funding opportunities in this five year program. If you have a project that could utilize funds for exotic vegetation removal and/or native species replanting, please consider this opportunity.
The Natural Resources Planning and Management Division of the Broward County Environmental Protection and Growth Management Department initiated the Land Stewardship Program in Fiscal Year 2009, a five-year capital improvement program to fund the ecological restoration of natural lands within Broward County through a "Partners in Preservation" Grant Program.
The proposed maximum grant is $50,000 per project.
For information on qualification and funding requirements please refer to the Grant Application Package (link to grant application).
