Renaissance Festival

Visitors step back in time for a taste of the Renaissance. Participants are invited to dress in period costume for the event. The festival's many stages feature such live performers as sword fighters, magicians, and beggars. Merchants and artisans demonstrate and sell their wares, knights in armor joust, and various food items are available.

A motorcycle parade begins at Mardi Gras Casino and ends with a party at Markham Park in Sunrise with live music, lots of vendors, an international food court, and refreshments. Each motocycle rider is asked to bring an unwrapped toy for children in need.
