Municipalities in Broward County are encouraged to pass proclamations to urge their residents to promote safe driving and to educate the general public about the dangers of texting while driving. “Take 5 to Stay Alive” has been adopted by the Broward Regional Emergency Medical Services Council as an official slogan and branding for this effort, and it is available for all municipalities and organizations to use.
