Broward Water Resources Task Force
The Broward Water Resources Task Force is an appointed body that convenes monthly to address current and future water supply concerns. Meetings are normally held at the Broward County Government Center West at 1 North University Drive, 2nd Floor Hearing Room, in Plantation, Florida. NatureScape Broward Classes
Join Broward Natural Resources Planning and Management Division staff for 3 hours of new and exciting ways to conserve water while creating beautiful and sustainable landscapes. Learn how to irrigate landscapes to use water most efficiently and get tips on which sprinklers are best, how to set your timer, and how to get the most coverage out of your irrigation system. Discover the benefits of landscaping with native plants, and learn about functional and attractive plant groupings, and proper pruning and mulching techniques. Know-the Flow Seminar Series
Know-the-Flow is a County public education and outreach initiative designed to provide Broward residents about the importance of water conservation and water pollution prevention in their homes, yards, and communities. This free, four-part course provides an overview of water management with a specific emphasis on what residents and property managers can do to manage and conserve water resources. Half-day classes include topics related to South Florida’s natural history, managing South Florida’s water, managing your neighborhood water management system, and NatureScape landscape best management practices. The course provides opportunities for licensed community association managers and landscape professionals to earn continuing education credits. Seminars are held monthly at different locations throughout Broward County.  Abbreviated Know-the-Flow seminars are available to groups upon request.
