Landfill Closed November 28 and 29 in Observance of Thanksgiving
The Broward County Southwest Regional Landfill is closed on Thursday and Friday, November 28 and 29, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Regular hours resume on Saturday, November 30.
Southwest Regional Landfill Hours To Change on December 2
Starting Monday, December 2, the entry gate to the Southwest Regional Landfill will close at 4:00 p.m. Drop-offs must be completed and customers must exit the landfill by 4:30 p.m. Opening hours remain the same, with the first load accepted at 8:00 a.m.
The landfill is open Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays and holidays.
The Broward County Southwest Regional Landfill is located at 7101 S.W. 205 Avenue near the intersection of Sheridan Street and U.S. 27. The landfill accepts yard waste, construction and demolition waste, and bulk trash Monday through Saturday.
The Southwest Regional Landfill serves the following cities: Coconut Creek, Cooper City, Coral Springs, Davie, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Hillsboro Beach, Hollywood, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, Lazy Lake, Lighthouse Point, Margate, Miramar, North Lauderdale, Oakland Park, Pembroke Park, Plantation, Sea Ranch Lakes, Southwest Ranches, Sunrise, Tamarac, Unincorporated Broward County, Weston, West Park and Wilton Manors.
