Targeted Industries Study

The Broward County Board of County Commissioners authorized a review of its current targeted industries for economic development in April 2008. The goal of the survey was to assess the prospects for recruiting into Broward County high growth, new and emerging industries that will ultimately create high-wage/high skilled job opportunities consistent with the County's overall economic development strategies. Opportunities for new growth and further development among high wage/high skill industries already established in Broward County are also addressed in the study.
